- TRAVELING SEASON HAS BEGUN!!
- Travel eligibility is posted under the Points section on the website. Check to see if you are eligibile to travel this season and what your point total is as of right now. Remember that there are still four women's games and a couple more men's games that could change your point total and affect your grade. Point totals do not include equipment points for the year.
- If you are travel eligible, you MUST fill out the travel availability form under the Travel Bands section of the website before your audition. We will need your name, section (including part), your weight, and which games you would like to/can attend. We need your weight incase we need to book a charter flight to a tournament site.
- You MUST sign up for an audition time outside the band office. Auditions will be Sunday February 24th from 2pm - 7pm in HL 201. In 201 you will be able to warm up/practice. You will also need to fill out a medical clearance form and show Greg your folder to check if you have all your music. At your audition time, you will be brought to Rm 215, where you will have your audition for Derrick, Erin, and one of the grad assistants. Your audition counts for 30 points for your season total. Your audition consists of the fight song, once through, and two songs from your folder. Each section has different requirements. These audition pieces will be posted outside the band office and on the audition availability form page.
- For most games, we will be leaving on a Thursday. If you are gatelisted to go to that specific game, you will recieve a letter for your professors excusing you from class. Please remember that Women's Big East is the beginning of spring break and Men's Big East is the end. We cannot provide transportation for you to and from home. The dorms WILL be open during break however, if you chose to stay.
- If your thinking about not auditioning because you have fewer points than others in your section.... AUDITION ANYWAY! We may need to have two bands travel (one for Men's and one for Women's NCAA) and you never know the availability of the other members in your section.
- GOOD LUCK TO ALL THAT AUDITION!!!
1/6/08
- Points are posted! There are seperated by sections and then by ID number. If anyone did not give Derrick their ID number, a random number is assigned. Please email him for that number. Please keep in mind that if you are low in points, there are still many women's games and always the possibility of extra point events to boost your total.
- Remember to register for Sitrus. You cannot be a member without registering for the class! It is ENI 020 for undergraduates and ENI 620 for graduate students. Members that go to LeMoyne or OCC must register through University College
- Remember the policy for excuses. They are due to Derrick 3 days before the men's game by midnight. Our first men's game this semester is Wednesday, so excuses are due to him by Sunday Jan 13th. Our first women's game is Tuesday, Jan 15th. There are no excuses for women's games so if you cannot attend, you must find a sub. This is a Band C game.
- It's almost Travel Season!! We will be posting the travel band oppurtunity form and audition information soon. Don't get discouraged if you don't have many points since the women's team is doing amazing and we may need 2 travel bands for the NCAA tournament dates. Simply go to women's games and participate in any extra point events. ALWAYS AUDITION!!
12/9/07
- Sitrus will be playing at both the Men's Game vs.USF at noon and the Women's Game vs. Louisville at 7pm on January 5th over winter break. If you would like to go to either or both of these games, please email Derrick ASAP!! No extra points will be given and there is no gatelist. If you live on campus please note that the dorms are closed so you will have to find someone off campus to stay with if you would like to attend those games.
- Points will be put up at the beginning of January under the "Points" section of the website.
- Have a great break and we'll see you next semester!!

Note: No extra points will be given for people running sectionals.
- Women's Games have been posted. Please be aware of which games you are required to be at. Also no excuses are accepted for women's bands. You must find a sub if you cannot attend your required game.
- Remember to pay your dues to Greg Szklany! You will not be gatelisted or allowed to sub a game if you have not paid your dues!!
- The gatelist for Monday's game will be posted Saturday morning on the gatelist page. The gatelist for Tuesday's game will appear here on the announcements page on Sunday morning. Please check both gatelists.
- Registration for Sitrus is required by all members. Sitrus is listed under ENI 020 and is class number 37363 for undergrade and ENI 620 class number 37372 for graduate students. If you do not register, you may not be a member of Sitrus in the Spring. Members who are not SU students must go through University College to sign up for the class.
